One benefit of membership in the Portrait Society of Atlanta is the ability to submit work for critique by a professional. Twice a year, in the spring and the fall, members can participate in a critique session with professional artists.
We were online via Zoom again for the Fall 2020 Portrait Society of Atlanta critique session. Portrait artist Carol Baxter Kirby gave advice to members on their work. Online with her were PSA members from Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas—some who had submitted work for review and some who just wanted to listen and learn. For these events, submissions are limited to members only, but visitors / guests may may attend or watch too.
