Making Friends with Watercolors

What do Albrecht Durer, John Singer Sargent, Winslow Homer, Georgia O’Keefe, and Mary Whyte have in common? They all created stunning paintings using watercolors. Join us on Tuesday, September 24, for an in-person presentation on watercolor painting. Jessica Lily will talk about artists’ use of watercolors and her own experience in using the medium. She’ll also share some insights on techniques, materials, and resources. This Portrait Society of Atlanta meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the N. Shallowford Annex, 4470 N. Shallowford Rd., Atlanta.
