Materials Exploration Day

Join us for an exciting new opportunity to experiment with materials guided by Debra Yaun, PSA 2nd Vice President, Instructor and  Brand Ambassador with Holbein Artist Materials, General Pencil, and Legion Paper at our meeting place at the North Shallowford Annex in Dunwoody.

The first 25 artists to sign up will be guaranteed a seat to experiment with: watercolors, a great sketching and final painting medium; regular and acrylic gouache, a wonderful quick and clean opaque medium for final paintings, as well as, a planning medium for oil paintings; PLUS various General Pencils and erasers for dazzling drawings. The emphasis is on exploration and fun!   

Members fee is $20 for the three hours. Non-members fee is $30. Register below.

Come empty handed and open minded, and leave with your experimental paintings and drawings and some materials from each of the sponsors.

All proceeds will be used to support the Portrait Society of Atlanta activites and outreach.

Directions when driving Southbound on N. Shallowford Rd: look for a sign (North Shallowford Annex) on the right BEFORE the entrance. Turn right at the light (at Peachford Road intersection) into the parking lot. Shallowford Annex building is on the right, Cube Smart storage on the left.
