Volunteer Zoom Chat – May 15
On Wednesday May 15 at 7pm, Portrait Society of Atlanta (PSA) members are invited to join a “Special Zoom Chat on Volunteer Information and Education.”
Recently, several new members have asked how they can volunteer. Through a Zoom conversation involving Q&A, and by sharing personal experiences, the goal of this Zoom Chat is to educate members (both new and old) about:
- Why the PSA needs volunteers
- How or where can I fit in
- All this extra work—what’s in it for me
To many, the biggest “Why” is to get involved in the community of like-minded artists and make new friends, and have a sense of accomplishment from contributing to the events the PSA offers. The PSA is a volunteer-run society, and while we’re all busy, hopefully we still find time for the things that make life richer and more interesting.
Join this Zoom chat to learn WHY your talents are needed and HOW that benefits both you and the PSA. There are ways to participate in both large or small tasks. All are beneficial to the membership and enable the PSA to continue our meetings, programs, workshops, life studios, exhibitions, and other events.
Members of the Executive and Advisory Boards, and some current and former volunteers will be available to answer questions, and talk about their experiences.
