DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nSaturday May 2, 2026— 10:00 am to noon.\n\n\n\nAt the Shallowford Annex\n\n\n\n“My Journey and Process of Painting Portraits“\n\n\n\nJoin us as Dr. Sivananda (Siva) Nyayapathi, ARCALM, OPA, talks about his journey from engineering to art. While showing some of his drawings and award-winning paintings, he will share his beliefs on the importance of drawing and painting from life and discuss his personal art processes. And of interest to many, he’ll demonstrate his own process of drawing from photographs. We hope you can join us for this informative presentation Saturday morning, May 2nd, 2026.\n\n\n\nAbout Dr. Sivananda Nyayapathi (Siva), ARCALM, OPA\n\n\n\nDr. Sivananda (Siva) was very fortunate to be born into an artistic family. Siva was inspired since his childhood by watching his father – an artist, writer, dramatist and singer – draw and paint. Siva had started exhibiting his drawings since a very young age of 12.
